Jane's 40th birthday

Hey everyone!

We're gathering video messages for Jane's 40th birthday! Please reply with a link to your video, and we'll add it to her surprise. Just keep it a secret from Jane.

I can start, here's the link to my video: https://example.com/my-video

What happens next

Six steps, from your email to their screen.

You organize the Event. Contributors only send their videos. Viewers only receive the final unlisted link.

  1. 01

    You

    Send one Creation Email

Email the Creation Address. Your subject becomes the Event title, your message becomes its introduction, and everyone you CC becomes a Contributor.

You can also attach one video or paste one direct public video file URL or supported YouTube URL into the email.

  2. 02

    Event Space

    We set up your Event

We create a private Draft, invite your Contributors, and email you a private access button. Nothing in the Draft is shown yet.

Open it within seven days so the Event does not expire.

  3. 03

    You

    Verify your email

On the access page, request a 15-minute sign-in link. Open the second email to verify your address and enter the Organizer workspace.

This check makes sure only the sender's mailbox can manage the Event.

  4. 04

    Contributors

    Friends reply with videos

Each Contributor replies with a video attachment, a direct public video file URL, or a supported YouTube video URL. They do not need an account and cannot see your Draft.

Direct files are stored and processed. YouTube videos stay on YouTube and use its official player.

  5. 05

    You

    Review the Draft

Edit the title, message, and Event Type. Review generated summaries, retry processing when needed, and preview the finished Event Page.

Your private workspace stays separate from the page viewers will see.

  6. 06

    You

    Finish and share

Publish when every included Contribution is ready. We create a random unlisted link for the finished Event Page.

Publishing closes Contributions. Share the Event Page link with the Honoree and viewers.

Open a complete Event with four video messages. This is the same page you can share with an Honoree after you publish.
